Vestiaire Collective launches a capsule collection with Rejina Pyo Future Collectables includes the 50 cult items from the designer's archive

Vestiaire Collective announces its new partnership with Rejina Pyo. The Korean-born designer selected exclusively for the pre-loved fashion platform, 50 of her favorite and best-selling items from her archive: from the iconic Jamie Dress, the puff-sleeved dress that launching the brand and its feminine aesthetic, to the Sylvia bag with the crocheted effect; from the Greta dress in poplin cotton to the metallic pistachio green lamé skirt; from the white Daphne denim jacket to the asymmetric skirt; from the silk midi dress of the SS18 collection to the Nane bag featuring a bow inspired by the traditional Korean gift box.

The result is Future Collectables, a capsule collection of accessories and ready-to-wear pieces that captures the colorful and casual aesthetic of Pyo's work: clean lines, graphic prints and color blocking. The clothes stand out for the presence of impressive details such as overlapping fabrics, cut-outs or see-through details, which give a unique and playful twist to even the most minimalist essentials.

The collaboration between Vestiaire Collective and Rejina Pyo was born as a result of sharing the same idea of eco-conscious fashione, focused less on trends and more on a wardrobe made of pieces designed to last over time. For Fanny Moizant, one of the co-founders of the platform, the basis of a wardrobe should in fact include classic pieces representing the key elements of our style, which can be combined with other trendy items that are more seasonal and can be resold or exchanged. Creating a circular wardrobe with the possibility to buy pre-owned luxury pieces to give a second, third or even fourth life to, is essential for Pyo as she explained:

We are working very hard to make our business sustainable through the use of innovative fabrics, removing single use plastic and we have always designed the clothing to be worn over multiple seasons. Each collection we design informs the one before and the one after, we are creating and evolving the brand story to experience for our customers, not just creating isolated trend based designs. This is why the quality and versatility of the designs is so important, we want our customer to invest in their wardrobe, and to be able to keep, wear and love their pieces for a long time.
