The best eye and lips masks to try

The latest Instagram trend is a quick and effective remedy to imperfections

The best eye and lips masks to try The latest Instagram trend is a quick and effective remedy to imperfections

The great majority of us cannot imagine their Sunday beauty routine without a face mask, but we often forget about the ultra-delicate and sensitive skin around the eyes and the lips. Not only here the skin is much thinner than anywhere else, but it also contains less oily glands, therefore, less natural hydration. This is the reason why in that zone appear wrinkles and puffiness. The solution? A quick and extremely effective beauty action: the eyes and lips patches. As opposed to thick creams, that might risk making these areas even puffier, the masks use light yet powerful serums, filled with refreshing and plumping ingredients like retinol, hyaluronic acid and ceramides, perfect elements to highlight and make skin glowing in just a few minutes.

On Instagram and among the celebs the patch application has become a real trend. In New York there's even The Mask Bar: a place that sells only face masks of all kinds, Emma Stone, for example, is often spotted shopping here. In fabric or with gel, these masks fill and flesh out where needed, while nourishing deeply. They are perfect for dry skins too.

We've gathered here our favourite patches.
