The new Louis Vuitton Pre-Spring 2020 Men’s Collection By Virgil Abloh

Virgil Abloh, since he took the controls of Louis Vuitton, probably will not have proven to be the best couturier, but is redefining the concept of luxury streetwear, bringing fashion to a more understandable language, to be communicated through social networks.
Virgil in the new Pre-Spring 2020 men's collection has reinterpreted the codes of streetwear, combining them with a treatment of materials and volumes consistent with the brand and with a "higher" fashion.
The items in the new collection seem designed to be worn and matched without constraints, focusing on a wide variety of shapes and above all decorative choices, ranging from more subtle effects, chain illustrations, impressionist inspirations, and black prints on white t-shirts. Reversible camo jackets, camel tones, shades of blue and cargo pants are other highlights of this collection. In addition to an obsession with pockets, Virgil's challenge was about the denim, treated in a very refined way to recreate the typical monogram of the French brand.

A reference to the Italian Renaissance could not be missing, a great passion of the designer. So here is a painting by Raphael giving life to a vest, a trench coat and a bomber. The most interesting and symbolic item in the collection is the sweater that represents the outlines of all the members of the Louis Vuitton atelier.
