nss Summer Fashion Guide To the best fashion coming this season

This summer seems like it will be hotter than usual, and no we’re not talking about the weather, at least not yet, but we’ll let you keep your cool with our hand-picked guide to the best fashion coming this season. With many big fashion moves around the houses coming into effect soon, fashion weeks, and the encroaching World Cup.

We at nss give you a hand-picked guide to the best fashion drops of the season, it’s the nss best summer fashion guide!

High Fashion

Louis Vuitton

The two top spots are almost shared, but we still have to give the most hyped show of the summer award to Mr. Virgil Abloh and his debut show collection for Louis Vuitton. It’s a high-pressure show for Virgil, he has a lot of hype to live up to, but we’re expecting a solid, though all be it perhaps safe, collection from the designer who has the eyes of the world on him at the moment. His debut for LV happens June, mark the calendars as the world's eyes will be watching.

Dior

The second spot goes to Mr. Kim Jones whose path has curved in similar parallels to Ablohs, being recently appointed the creative director to his own fashion powerhouse, Dior. He carries on from the legacy of Raf Simons and Kris Van Assche's great work for the French brand. Kim Jones who left the chair that Virgil now inhabits at LV, has had an incredible quality of his designs in everything he’s touched recently from high, to street, to sneakers and even football.. but we’ll return to that later.

Moncler Genius

Yes, we are well aware that this is actually 8 collections, and of course, we wouldn’t cheat like that. We’ve previewed them all and yes there are some amazing moments all around, but the stand out for us is the incredible Craig Green collection. Scaling back from the very outlandish creations he previewed at the Moncler genius fashion week event earlier this year, the collection is an amazing mix of Green futurism, Moncler heritage, fine tailoring, with lots n lots of great details, look forward to this one!

Prada

They’ve had a little bit of uphill battle in recent seasons, but Prada is coming back and doing it strong. Coming with a cleaner, sportier and more street styled aesthetic the new Prada collection is one you won't want to miss.

Street style

Palm Angels x Moncler

There's something about these two that just seems like a match made in heaven. A true symbiotic relationship, perhaps due to their common ancestry, the coming Moncler Genius collection with Palm Angels is amazing. Elevating the street grit of Palm Angels with the production quality that Moncler brings, it’s is the ultimate street luxury collection, for looking fly and feeling fine this summer.

Matthew M Williams x Nike

ALYX has been nothing short of remarkable these past seasons, with Matthew M Williams at the helm it's done almost nothing wrong, fusing function with design to a higher level of fashion craft, the upcoming training collection with Nike will be a must for gaining comfort and function in the summer heat, this will be one of the most hyped collections this summers for sure.

Sneakers

Nike React Element 87 x Undercover

One of the hottest and most anticipated sneakers coming this summer is the Nike React x Undercover collaboration. Combining form and function with Nike’s new React technology these shoes are just fire, and you won’t want to miss one of the many great colorways. Our favorite is the white with small red detailing, but also one of the none Undercover branded versions are all super sick. The first drop comes June 21st

MMW Vapor Street Flyknit

Another sneaker that will be a must-have this season is the highly anticipated Vapor Street Flyknit version that's designed by Matthew M Williams of ALYX for his Nike training line. The popular silhouette that carries just the right combination of sleek and chunk, gets a subtle and very clean reworking by MMW, that makes it one of the best looking designs of the summer.

adidas Future craft 4D

We know these have dropped before, but with a supply so limited that they were basically impossible to get, and with adidas betting hard on 3D printed technology this year. Expect to see many more models coming to market. With their futuristic, clean, and above all completely unique look, the Adidas Future craft 4D’s are a must cop this season, and in the future for sure.

Football

Beyond the obvious mega hype of the Nigerian football jersey, and both China’s and Russia’s dope contributions of World Cup kits, it's two kits that actually aren’t on the field that will be the hottest football fashions for the summer. The worlds of football and fashion are meeting like never before in time for the 2018 World Cup, and its all gone full circle with Kim Jones and Virgil Ablohs respective football collections for Nike. Virgils more colorful, and playful take, and Jone’s amazing cuts and details will make these extremely hot items this summer.

Those are our picks, and we wish you all the best of luck in coping!
